Dear NYSASIC
Associate Members and Friends:
The 2008
NYSASIC Fall Conference will be held this year at the Radisson
Hotel in Corning NY on October 8 - 10.
The
Conference will begin for associate members and friends at
6:00pm on Wednesday with a networking reception and dinner
buffet at the hotel.
On Thursday
and Friday we have planned presentations on subjects ranging
from selecting a TPA to issues with off-premises workers.
Additionally, we will have scheduled time for networking and
visiting the vendor display area. Please see the enclosed
tentative agenda for more details.
On Thursday
evening we will have a networking reception and dinner at the
hotel. The conference will close by noon on Friday to permit
adequate travel time. All activities and meetings are business
casual attire.
Due to
popular demand, we are again applying for continuing education
credits for our conference. There is an enrollment form in the
conference packet for the education credits.
In between,
there will be plenty of time to network with your peers and
municipal friends, keep informed of the latest issues and
trends, learn new approaches to old problems and find just the
right vendor to provide a product or service you need.
As always we
have plenty of opportunities to sponsor the conference. This
Fall we are continuing our sponsor advertisements in the program
book. Thus we will no longer ask for sponsors of individual
events, but rather we will accept sponsors in increments of
$500. The $500 will be applied where the NYSASIC Board needs to
cover activity costs and such. Each $500 sponsor will receive
approximately a 5” x 4” advertisement space in the program
book. For more information on sponsoring this conference please

The
conference registration fee includes access to all the sessions,
vendor exhibits, and conference activities. All meals and
lodging are included in the Radisson Hotel prices. Commuter
meal packages and/ or individual meals for those not staying at
the Radisson can be arranged by contacting the hotel directly.
