Welcome to the website for The NY State Association of Self-Insured Counties.
The New York State Association of Self-Insured Counties was formed in March 1977 to serve as a forum for all self-insured New York State Counties and other municipalities to exchange information and support the interest of municipal governments across the State. Although the group started with a focus on Workers’ Compensation, NYSASIC has grown to become one of the most useful resources for continuing education about risk management topics in New York.
NYSASIC holds two conferences a year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
As a member of NYSASIC we offer our members a forum to exchange ideas to implement more economical and efficient operation of municipal self-insurance. We educate our membership in the application of the techniques of risk management. We supply information to members on the most current legislation and laws that will be affecting our plans. We assist members in solving their municipal risk management problems.
If there ever was a time to take a look at the value NYSASIC offers its members, it is now.
